I have had a varied musical career over the past 30+ years. I left college during the hippie era, and played full-time with a touring rock band for a few years. I then went back to school and received my Bachelor of Music Education degree with an emphasis in guitar from the University of Northern Colorado, and spent several years teaching public school music and private lessons. I have performed in a wide variety of different styles and venues: club bands playing jazz, rock and country, community concert and jazz bands, church and community choral groups and, of course, my Mellow Music solo performances.

Here are some of my other current music projects:

Vinyl Destination - I am a founding and full-time member of this four-piece Classic Rock band, featuring tight three and four-part harmonies. The band covers hits from groups such as The Beach Boys, The Eagles, The Beatles, The Association, Crosby-Stills-Nash-Young, The Bee-Gees and many more. https://www.facebook.com/VinylDestinationBand

Mellow Fellas - I have recently added an excellent horn player, Norm Gary (clarinet, sax, and flute) for many of my bookings. We have quite a different feel from my solo music, focusing on songs from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, which is especially popular with the senior crowd, bringing back many fond memories. We fill out our sound with pre-recorded parts with bass, drums, strings, etc, so suitable for dancing as well as listening and background music. http://mellowfellas.com

Dudley and The DooRights - I have joined this high-energy Classic Rock and blues band for several gigs at street fairs, festivals, and private events. The focus is on fun and lots of audience interaction, covering everything from Chuck Berry to Creedence to Santana to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
